An integral part of a flexible manufacturing line (FMS), the pallet changer is an automatic system that allows to transport the workpiece from a storage station to the one where machining is to take place, and vice versa.
Guaranteeing a continuous and automated production cycle (i.e. without interruptions for the assembly/disassembly of pieces), the automatic pallet changer system (APC) moves the work table, suitably equipped, and allows to replace the machined piece with a raw one, not yet subjected to treatment.
